Chris Halliday
Chris is super excited to be joining Elmdale Tennis Club as the Head Pro. After receiving his Club Pro 1 certification, Chris has since coached in Ottawa, France, Spain, Maldives and most recently Guatemala. Chris strives to make learning tennis a fun experience, no matter the age or level.

Mariya Toncheva
Coach Mariya is nationally certified and a member in good standing of the Tennis Professional Association of Canada and the internationally recognized US Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). She has been a certified tennis instructor with the Bulgarian Tennis Federation since 2012 and has over a decade of tennis coaching experience in Bulgaria, the United States (California), and Canada. She is an accomplished former competitor as she played national tournaments in her country of origin, international ITF, and WTA tournaments until offered a full athletic scholarship from Eastern Michigan University (USA), NCCA Division I, where she represented the women’s tennis team for four years.
Coach Mariya is positive, passionate, and professional. She loves to work with children and adults from beginner to advanced level and competitive juniors. Her main goal as a coach is to teach players technical and tactical aspects of the game and help them reach and experience their full potential on the court.
